Let’s identify the perfect path:
iPEC’s Energy Leadership Development System (ELDS)
Everything you need in a coaching program: (i) curriculum on the eight components of highly conscious leadership; (ii) personalized coaching to walk you through each segment, dig deeper, and set goals and strategies in place to maximize your success; and (iii) energy management tools and resources to set you up for long-term success.
Curriculum
You’re going to be working through a digital workbook with a wealth of exercises, frameworks, and resources to maximize your growth during sessions and well beyond our work together.
1:1 Coaching Sessions
Meet with Emily weekly or bi-weekly for custom coaching sessions walking you through the ELDS curriculum at a personalized pace. Program exercises will be hand selected based on your unique interests and goals, which you may complete between sessions or during sessions. This program offers the perfect amount of structure (to ensure we cover every critical facet of conscious leadership) and personalization, which allows us to select the most relevant exercises and adjust course as needed.
Secret Sauce
This is not just any coaching program; there’s nothing else like it! The secret sauce to maximizing your success in all you do—iPEC’s energy management tools—are embedded throughout the ELDS curriculum so that you learn the framework and concepts, then put them into practice with a professional coach week after week to develop your own personal expertise in energy management.
1:1 Custom Coaching Program
Step 1. LEADERSHIP FOUNDATIONS
(i) Using iPEC’s one-of-a-kind Energy Leadership Index (ELI) assessment, we will explore your energy level across all areas of work and life and in turn discover areas of strength, key growth opportunities, and the precise factors influencing your energy. You will also learn an insanely effective tool to shift your energy level, confidence, and productivity on demand
(ii) Assessing your core values will leave you with a greater sense of direction, and knowledge of current gaps in valued living we can address to enhance engagement, fulfillment, and authenticity.
(iii) Developing a coaching program plan based on the information uncovered from the ELI and values assessment debriefs will create a structure for our work together that (1) provides direction, (2) supports you in selecting topics each session, and (3) establishes a baseline so you can easily recognize all of the success you achieve as you make progress towards your goals week after week.
Step 2. GOAL-FOCUSED COACHING SESSIONS
We will meet weekly or bi-weekly (it’s up to you) to address the key opportunities for growth identified in your coaching program plan and every single thing impacting your energy. We can shift gears at any time, as this program is fully customizable based on your personal goals and opportunities. Custom coaching sessions will continue for as long as you’re getting value from coaching support.
Step 3. ASSESSMENT OF GROWTH AND POST-PROGRAM GOAL SETTING
Before we close out, you will have the opportunity to:
Reassess your energy level with another ELI assessment (for clients who have worked with me for six months or longer).
Explore all of the growth and increased self-awareness you’ve experienced.
Set post-program goals to ensure ongoing development well beyond our time together.
Who is custom coaching for?

You’re committed to ongoing growth and development. You are ready to make some serious changes and looking for a trusted coach to offer insight and feedback, support you in the process, and hold you accountable for serious follow-through week-after-week.
Outcomes: You’ll walk away with tools designed to boost your confidence, productivity, and optimism on demand. You will have a clearer picture of what you want for the future, how to get it, and what motivates follow-through. You will learn how to put to work your personal strengths and external resources, as you quiet the noise around you so you can make conscious decisions about what’s best for you and your career based on what you truly want. Frequently Asked Questions
For how long do you typically support your clients?
Most arrangements last between three and 12 months; beyond your initial program, you may continue on a month-to-month basis. While I am flexible, I highly recommend at least six months for all clients who want to make a successful transition and/or majorly shift their general energy level; clarify what they want for their career and life; and go after their goals with a supportive partner along their side throughout the journey!
Do you use assessments?
Yes, I use a one-of-a-kind assessment to help you establish a baseline (the ONLY way to meaningfully assess your growth over time!) and personalize our work together! The assessment I use is designed to (i) help you understand your current levels of energy, confidence, productivity, and optimism in the different areas of your life; (ii) shine light on your strengths and pinpoint your biggest opportunities for growth; and (iii) teach you a powerful self-coaching tool for boosting career leadership in the moment and over time. (Learn more about iPEC’s Energy Leadership Index assessment here: https://www.energyleadership.com/assessment.)
Do you support attorneys only?
While the majority of my clients are attorneys, I serve ambitious professionals across all demanding industries who highly value personal development. Most mid-career professionals will encounter challenges with authentic leadership, work-life balance, career trajectory confusion / fulfillment, and self-doubt at some point or another!
What’s the difference between coaching and therapy?
The International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines coaching as the process of “partnering with Clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.“
In other words, coaching focuses on your strengths to move you forward toward future opportunities so you can reach your goals. Traditional therapy, on the other hand, is a healing modality, focuses heavily on the past, and is intended to get you to a functional place. As a coach, it is my intention to help you thrive, well beyond “functional.” Therapy also helps you manage clinical mental health diagnoses. Coaching, on the other hand, helps you manage non-clinical, yet common doubts, fears, and concerns that are holding you back by developing a specific goal every session, strategies to achieve your goal, and motivation to follow through.
The coaching work I do in particular is also primarily focused on your career. While we may touch on other areas of your life that can impact career outcomes, our work focuses on career navigation, professional development, and workplace fulfillment.
Couldn’t I just talk to an industry mentor instead of paying for coaching support?
Yes, you absolutely could! But the support you will get is very different…
Coaches don’t give advice or tell you what to do. A coach helps YOU decide what you want to do with your career and life and how you are going to make it happen, then holds you accountable to following through.
Coaches believe YOU are the expert in your life, while the coach is an expert in the process of goal achievement and building hope and optimism.
Coaching entails a series of sessions, rather than one-off meetings. Empowering you to take action session after session helps you (i) incrementally work towards your goals, (ii) build positive habits over time, and (ii) build confidence with frequent “mini wins,” all crucial to achieving long-term success.
